PSM Thesis Reproduction Grant for FY 2008-2009
PSM will give thesis awards to two (2) B.S. and four (4) graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) students for FY 2008-2009. The grant is intended for printing and reproduction of the students’ thesis amounting to PhP 5,000 for each B.S. student; PhP 10,000 for the M.S or Ph.D. student.
The following are the requirements for getting the grant:
- The student must be a PSM member.
- The thesis research should focus on microbiology.
- The thesis must have been duly approved by his/her corresponding thesis panel in his/her university as shown by the acceptance page of the thesis manuscript.
- The PSM must be duly acknowledged in the manuscript.
- A bound copy of the manuscript must be provided to the PSM office.
The grantees are encouraged to present their work at the annual PSM convention.
Applications will be accepted from 01 June 2008 to 31 May 2009. The applications should be accompanied by a copy of the duly approved manuscript, a copy of the acceptance page with the signatures of the panel members, and the formatted application form.
